Industrial Roofing
Industrial roofing is a type of roof typically used in industrial settings and large factory buildings, when an uninterrupted or continuous roof space that is necessary to the operation of the building must be maximized.
Industrial rooftops can last up to four times longer than residential roofs, because they can support heavier loads, more frequent live loads, and exposure to more corrosive agents than residential roofs.
For better protection from precipitation, industrial roofs are often covered with waterproof membranes rather than by a layer of gravel. However, such roof spaces cannot easily be accessed for repairs or inspection because of their location.
